With the drought in Australia in past years and water restrictions in place, Golf Courses suffered from a lack of water supplies. Metropolitan enjoys a reputation as one of the best-conditioned and most beautiful courses in the country. The pure couch grass fairways with large, fast bent-grass greens require constant up-keep and water to ensure that the members receive the high standards expected of this prestigious golf course. As a leading club in the golf industry, Metropolitan set a goal to show an example and eliminate the need to use potable water. 

Description

The Bore Water Treatment Plant uses reverse osmosis, including pre-treatment and chemical dosing to treat 115 KL/day for irrigation of the golf course.
